how to: ranger pre-searing skills - Guild Wars Forums

Hey, I'm playing gw for the first time. I missed doing some pre-searing quests that would give me ranger skills like Ignite Arrows, etc. When I came to know of it, I see that I couldn't go back and do them

. I was wondering whether there is a way to get those skills without spending my skill points, maybe play another ranger in presearing to unlock them for my present ranger?

If not I'll just spend my skill points to buy them.

Yes, you can unlock them with another pre-searing ranger and then get them on your older ranger with tomes. And while you are at it, put the new ranger through all of the skill quests before deleting him/her, so you won't have to do this again with a monk or necro, etc.

Remember: You will still have to either use Ranger Tomes (found in Hard Mode after completion of the last mission of the game) OR skill points, if you create a new ranger.

There is the possibility of a quest after the Searing that might give the Ignite Arrows and Dual Shot skills, but I'm not sure of that.
If you missed the pet skills quest, go speak to Master Ranger Nente in Old Ascalon. He stands at the statue of Balthazar at the former entrance to Green Hills Country, just west of Ascalon City.

Don't worry about spending skill points. You'll get tons of them while playing the game.
